Hare And Thistle

In this black-and-white charcoal drawing from Corran’s ongoing Domestication series, wild animals meet decorative wallpaper, creating a nuanced exploration of home. Nostalgic patterns tell stories of belonging, while animals embody curiosity and untamed freedom. The composition, split in two, features a white hare in the upper half and a thistle wallpaper pattern below. This intriguing interplay captures the complex dynamics of domesticity, blending familiarity with the wild spirit of exploration.
