Paulina Wróbel

Paulina Wróbel

Poland

Born in Gdańsk, Paulina is a self-taught painter specializing in easel and monumental painting. Her work draws inspiration from nature and the dynamics of life, incorporating references to color field painting, tachisme, and gestural painting. Using colors straight from the tube, she symbolizes simple yet profound human emotions, often exploring themes from Nietzsche and Freud. Her technique involves palette knives, hands, and brushes, aiming to blur the line between the artwork and the viewer. Influenced by Jackson Pollock, Clyfford Still, Piet Mondrian, and Victor Vasarely, her pieces are in private collections across Europe and the United States.
