Anton Vitkovskiy is a self-taught artist who has never studied to be an artist. He has been creating art since 2011. Anton was born in USSR, in Crimea and later moved to the US at the start of the 21st century. He started to develop an interest in fine art when he was studying in Virginia. He was influenced by the works of Picasso, Jean Michel Basquiat, Jackson Pollock, and many other notable artists. After moving to New York City and living in it, he acquired a new view which added a certain amount of depth to his works. Something that allowed him to understand different cultures more and more. Anton then got into Tribal primitive cultures of Africa, Latin America, pre-Christian Europe, Sumerian, and Egyptian civilizations and found them to be very close to his visual interpretation of the world. He believes that these images come to him from the outer cosmos just like any of his viewers, he is looking for visual clues in order to unlock a specific painting.
