Cofee, a self-taught artist, takes his name from his first canvases which he painted using coffee.
Through meetings with various graffiti artists (Rino, Esor), Cofee gradually finds his style, combining techniques acquired over the course of his creations.
It is in the “calligraffiti” movement that his work finds all its essence. Rather than using the basics of calligraphy to form letters, Cofee reworks them to create portraits, animals or even an abstract variation. A way of writing images. A technique honed through multiple creations on canvas, but also on the wall, which is also the artist’s favorite medium. However, daily work in the studio allowed him to perfect his techniques before applying them on a large scale. Increasingly large walls: witness for example the tower of the belvedere of Moûtiers that he created with his partner Rino.
Passionate about Hip-Hop, Cofee materializes his vision of this world in his graphic universe. In this context, he regularly goes on stage with the company Supreme Legacy to combine dance and painting.
A fan of teamwork and challenge, he repainted with Rino the entirety of a fallow building of more than 10,000 m2 in Auvergne, before foreseeing other large-scale projects.
