Debora Stewart

Debora Stewart is a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America and in the Masters Circle of the International Association of Pastel Societies. She is author of Abstract Art Painting: Expressions in Mixed Media and has taught workshops for artists throughout the United States.

She has exhibited her pastels and acrylic paintings in numerous juried exhibits and has received awards from The Pastel Society of America, International Artist Magazine, Pastel Journal Magazine and American pastel societies. Her work is represented by galleries in the US. She has also been included in invitational exhibits in China and France.
Debora’s signature style is expressive, intuitive and colorful. Nature and gardens are her inspiration and many works spring from drawings created from life. Debora strives to reflect her personal experience in nature. Pastels are a passion for the artist and her work has been collected widely. Debora also creates larger works on canvas with colors and mark reflecting
her pastels.
