Osa Rosti, a versatile mixed-media artist, originally from Sweden and now residing in the serene landscapes of Sicily, Italy, began her artistic journey in 2003, achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Silversmithing, Jewelry Design, and Crafts from London Guildhall University.
Over the past 15 years, Osa has passionately immersed herself in recycled paper and cardboard, crafting captivating papier-mâché creations that blend traditional techniques with innovation, yielding exquisite sculptures, wall art, and home decor.
Osa’s latest artistic venture showcases a captivating collection of decorative wall masks, inspired by the enduring tradition of mask-making. Her fascination with masks’ cultural significance, serving as vessels for embodying personalities, deities, animals, and mystical beings across diverse cultures, has driven her to breathe life into unique characters, each exuding a truly distinctive essence.
