BerlinIt was around 93, 94… when HRVB noticed the first splashes of color on his Plattenbau buildings in Berlin-Marzahn. Some strangely shaped, colorful letters that suddenly adorned the facades captivated him. When they were kids, they used to go around the house all day and mess things up. Behind the house, in the passageway, they once caught a graffiti sprayer. He watched him for hours, totally fascinated. Of course, they also dusted off his empty cans. They felt like kings. His interest was aroused. Later, They got themselves a few cans and started spraying all over the place without any plan or reason. This subversive, anarchistic idea of graffiti had grabbed him. If the world is too gray for you, then make it colorful.
