Catalina Ortiz

Catalina Ortiz, born on January 19, 2002, in Canelones, has been immersed in art since childhood. Her artistic journey began with early inspirations like “The Birth of Venus” and evolved through various forms, from painting and drawing to creating comics and crafting dollhouses. Despite feeling lost during her school years, Catalina discovered her true passion for art, leading her to pursue an artistic degree. She studied at the University of Fine Arts and launched her Instagram account, “CoPlina,” in 2020, sharing her creative processes and tutorials. Her first exhibition at the Taddei Museum in 2021 further ignited her dedication to art. Catalina continues to create, driven by the desire to inspire others through her work.
