Edgaras Bekeris

Edgaras Bekeris is a tattoo artist based in Lithuania. It all began when he was an emigrant who craved meeting and knowing all different cultures and people. So he headed for a big travel plan in one year. He hitchhiked from his home country to India. During his travels, he started to learn and see all the beauty of the world’s folklore. When he went back home, he actually realized how Lithuania is rich in history and roots. Led by this passion for symbols, he started to use the human body as a medium for creation, bringing back the roots of Baltic Culture to the modern world.
Edgaras has been tattooing for almost four years and never used a tattoo machine as he always wanted to keep that beautiful enchanting spirit. A bunch of different things inspire him: things from his surroundings, people, festivals, old pagan books, folklore clothing, art, handicrafts, and things he sees when he walks the road.
He loves hiking, being in the mountains, woods, and nature in general. Lately, it’s been a beautiful ritual for him to go, for a swim in ice-cold waters in wintertime. He loves to check his body limits through extreme sports.
