Raul Casado

Born in Mallorca, a small Mediterranean island in Spain, Raul Casado has felt a passion for the sea and for art in equal parts since he was little. The swimming classes, which he started at an early age, linked him to the sea forever and led him to discover new ways of enjoying it, including surfing, which trapped him forever and although the waves here are not usual, they offer us that direct contact with nature that makes us enjoy each surf session
He lives surrounded by nature and without overcrowding. That influences his way of conceiving life and of course drawing. Less is more, the simple life, outlining, simplifying, how a line can say so much. He marks the path with a pencil line, but then each one of us marks the rest, with our lives and experiences. He represents his world but each person seeing the same thing sees different things, and he likes that, it’s not what it is but how you see it.
