Sigmund Nyberg was born in 1949 in Oslo, Norway. He studied at Nydalen Artschool in Oslo, and Oslo Drawing and Painting School.
His form language is abstract, often including figurative elements. Depth effect and conscious use of warm and cold colors are what fill his art most of the time.
Creating a comprehensive and the most vivid composition in the abstract form, he challenges the public’s imagination. By building up an abstract feel of timeless infinity in the commentary, he hopes to give the viewer a positive impulse to build on.
He is intrigued by the human journey through life from birth to our transaction to new dimensions. This is what he wishes to express in his art. He wants to give the viewer a sense of infinity.
