Until 2011, Yves Decampes pursued a career as a photographer. However, a sense of limitation within the medium ignited a transformative journey of self-discovery, leading to the acquisition of painting and drawing skills. The artistic process typically commences with the creation of digital photocollages, which are subsequently transmuted into analog forms through the skillful application of paint.

For an extended period, Yves resided amidst the captivating landscapes of the Peruvian Andes, spanning from 2006 to 2021. During this chapter, geographic distance rendered international art scenes somewhat elusive, prompting the utilization of the internet as a vital platform for the dissemination of artistic works. Presently, he has established residence in Spain and is proud to be represented by the esteemed 3 Punts Galeria in Barcelona, where their artistic vision finds its well-deserved showcase.
