Amy Tieman is a self-taught mixed media artist with a lifelong passion for drawing and creating. From an early age, she spent countless hours crafting her “masterpieces,” driven by a deep fascination with the vastness and beauty of underwater worlds and their inhabitants. Vibrant florals and abstract forms also serve as significant sources of inspiration for her work. As an intuitive artist, Amy rarely begins with a set plan, allowing her creative process to unfold organically. Her goal is to achieve visual elegance, balance, and harmony in each piece. She prefers to let paints and inks flow freely onto the chosen substrate, then designs a composition around the emotions and expressions that emerge. Often, the final outcome is unexpected and surprising—her favorite part of the creative journey. Continuously exploring new techniques, Amy’s style is always evolving. Amy Tieman currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her wonderful husband and four amazing children.
