I Am Coming Back to Stars

The visual principle of this work comes from the Persian and European miniatures used for medieval manuscript illustrations. This painting was conceived as a piece of tapestry and this could be observed in its compositional structure. The main action takes place in the center of the work, while the decorative edges fill up the sides. Both in Persian and Christian miniatures there are phantasmagoric, levitating, maidens with magical hair, guiding their heroes. We can see these maidens in Rusudan’s work as well. Likewise, the star is the main and hidden actor of a composition in symbology of different religions
