The Lady Head tattoo is classic iconography in Japanese and Western tattooing. Although the meaning changes for each individual wearer, Lady Heads are often associated with beauty, desire, good luck, independence and fertility. She is the embodiment of the psyche that is a woven dreamscape of the duality of nature and culture: earth and the built environment. She is simultaneously birthing and witnessing our cyclical state of consumption, destruction and subsumption, and regeneration.
