Starry Night

After his painting ‘Self-Portrait of Vincent Van Gogh’ became a popular piece and brought him fame, Timur realized that it was a sign from above. That’s why he decided to keep making paintings out of wooden blocks. These wooden blocks are of unusual beveled shape, which makes the picture attractive to the viewer. Due to the nature of his creation, his works create an unusual optical effect. After working on some famous portraits out of wooden cubes, he decided to go back to Van Gogh’s works as he is one of the best artists in the eye of the public. His Starry Night painting was performed in the same technique. He has used 980 wooden cubes, which were carved and hand-treated, and then covered with colored wax and a protective layer of hard oil.
