The Red Bronx

Enivo’s artwork is a form of documentation of his existence, besides, it is a visual communication through characters, symbols, and signs. His body of work combines street art and canvas, to make characters that represent his influences, friends, and the black community.

His influences are the people around him; his life is surrounded by art, music and culture. The Rainbow Warriors are his last art series. Some art figures that inspire him the most to produce the characters are the multi artists “O Novissimo Edigar”, Rammellze and Nick Cave.

Enivo

Brazil
Enivo was born in Grajaú, on the outskirts of São Paulo, Brazil, in 1986. Growing up in a neighborhood on the edge of Sao Paulo, poor, without access to culture, sport or leisure. At a very young age, having few opportunities or positive influences, he started to follow the trails of illicit examples that surrounded him, however, it wasn't his destiny. At the age of 12, was the first moment he pressed the nozzle of a can of spray paint and felt the magic of art, the ability to create his own lavish world of riches and beauty. At this time, he was sure of his future: making himself exist in society, stamping ideas, scribbling faces of young black people on the walls of the city, inspiring others to make art, transforming his reality and all the people around him.
