Waiting for The Dawn in The Temple

In 2015, Chien visited the old town of Mexico City and was attracted by the strong charm of this ancient Metropolitan Cathedral. Mexico City is a very lively city, the squares are always full of people. But in his painting, there is only one lonely person inside the church waiting for the dawn. That’s because when he painted this painting, it was the time when the epidemic in Taiwan was at its worst. He hopes to use this painting to pray that the world will recover soon.
