Wild Trip
A multi-layered piece that exposes the rich colors below the surface. Drawings and marks were added with a complementary palette to finish the piece. This is a totally random approach to abstract that Lynn Alker likes to use as she always finds it exciting to pull something unexpected from beneath and bring it to a cohesive conclusion with the existing elements. She especially likes the way this work came together. Lynn titled it ‘Wild Trip” because she felt like she was traveling in an exotic place and collecting bits and pieces of beautiful memorabilia along the way.
