Wildflower Constellations XVII
Wildflower Constellations XVII was painted in 2023. The work was inspired by Brittany’s neighbor’s front yard wildflower garden and the abstraction of patterns and shapes that seemed to form constellations. This work and the paintings made alongside it were created to convey ideas of faith, hope, abundance and flourishing.

USABrittany Smith is a self-taught, North Carolina based artist known for her impressionistic floral and landscape paintings. Inspired by the beauty found in the everyday, she seeks to bring the life of those moments into her paintings through her use of color, gestural brushstrokes and impressionistic style. Brittany works and lives outside of Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and three children.
